Greensboro, NC - It was a rainy afternoon at Pride Field as Greensboro Women's Lacrosse played Guilford College. The Pride fell by the score of 18-3.
The Quakers got out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter before
Emily Gearhart scored the first Pride goal of the game. Gearhart scored two of the team's three goals.
Later in the second period, freshman
Keira Fenyo scored her team leading sixth goal of the season. Gearhart scored the third goal of the game a few minutes later. The game was called due to lightning near the end of the fourth quarter.
Alexandra Carefoot had two caused turnovers and two ground balls. The team had a total of eleven ground balls and six caused turnovers for the game.
The Pride will host conference rival Brevard this Saturday, with a start time scheduled for 3:00 pm.
