Greensboro, NC - Greensboro Women's Lacrosse hosted Brevard College on Saturday and were defeated 19-1.
The Tornados offense was led by Emily Denaga, who scored seven goals. Denaga also had four ground balls.
The lone goal for Greensboro came from
Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce in the third quarter. Defensively, the Pride had five caused turnovers.
Grace Dobson had two caused turnovers, while
Alexandra Carefoot,
Gabby Heck, and
Keira Fenyo had one each.
The Pride had seven saves in goal, five of which came from
Carly Walton.
Greensboro will play again on Tuesday when they travel to Southern Virginia. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
