Montgomery, AL - The Greensboro Women's Lacrosse team traveled to Alabama to take on Huntingdon College on Saturday and fell 9-3.
The game was tight until the third quarter, when the Hawks took a 6-1 lead. The Pride scored two goals in the final period but couldn't slow down the Huntingdon offense.
Senior
Sabrina Speake scored two of the team's three goals on the game, while freshman
Gabby Heck scored one goal. Heck also had six ground balls on the game.
Grace Dobson had six ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Keira Fenyo picked up five ground balls and two caused turnovers. In goal,
D'Kayla Thomasson had five saves while
Carly Walton had six.
Next up for the Pride is a home contest against Guilford College on March 27th at 4:00 PM.Â
