Greensboro, NC - Men's soccer head coach
Manbi Nyepon has resigned from his position, effective immediately.
Nyepon, who played his final two seasons of collegiate soccer at Greensboro, led the Pride men's soccer program for four years beginning in 2021. The 2021 season was the best season for the program under Nypon, as the team went 8-8-2 and 4-2-1 in USA South Conference play.
Nyepon was the starting goalie for Greensboro in from 2012-2013, compiling 157 saves in those two seasons. His 157 saves is 7th all-time in program history.
Under Nyepon, Greensboro had five players earn all-conference honors, with the most recent being
Axel Garcia-Avila in 2023.
Greensboro College Director of Athletics Jerry Fisk said of Nyepon, "I'm thankful for coach Nyepon and the four years he devoted to the men's soccer program. As an alum, I know he cared deeply about the program. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
