Greensboro, NC - It was senior night on Friday inside Hanes Gymnasium as the Greensboro volleyball team celebrated their lone senior Krista Brantley. The Pride took down NC Wesleyan 3-0 to improve to 19-7 and 12-4 in conference play.

Greensboro controlled the match from the start. as they got out to a 5-1 lead in the first set and eventually won the set 25-11. The second set went much the same way as Greensboro took it 25-14.

In the final set, the Battling Bishops started well as the set was tied 3-3 early. However, Greensboro rattled off 6 straight points to take a 9-3 advantage and didn't look back. The set would end with Greensboro winning 25-13 as they earned their 9th 3-0 sweep of the season.

Kelci Brooks led the team in kills with 11 followed by Krisa Brantley with 9. With her 9 kills, Brantley goes over the 600 career kills mark. Jaylyn Templeton had 26 assists and 14 digs. Grace Klingensmith and Grace Young had 3 service aces each as Greensboro totaled 12 aces on the night. Morgan Mayfield led the team in digs with 18.

The Pride will play again on November 6th against Southern Virginia on the road looking for their 20th win of the season.
