Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro men's soccer team hosted Mary Baldwin on Tuesday and played to a 1-1 draw.
It was a scoreless battle for much of the contest, as both goalies played well in this one. Greensboro goalie
Cristian Del Cid had the save of the game when he saved a penalty kick in the 34th minute to keep the game scoreless.
In the second half, Mary Baldwin scored the first goal in the 57th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Despite multiple great looks, the Pride couldn't find the equalizing goal until the final minute of action.
Craig Thomas would score a header off an assist from
Jalen King with 35 seconds remaining to tie the game 1-1. The goal came off a corner kick by King.
Del Cid would total 3 saves on the match, giving him 42 saves on the season. Greensboro totaled 14 shots and 9 corner kicks on the afternoon.
The Pride will host Pfeiffer in their next match on Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
