Greensboro, NC - The Greensboro men's golf team played in their second tournament of the fall season on Monday and Tuesday, as they hosted the Gate City Invitational at Forest Oaks Country Club. The team came home in 9th place out of 18 teams.
Watcharakan Chankarn led the way for Greensboro, shooting a -8 on the tournament. Chankarn shot a 65 in round one on Monday, putting him atop the leaderboard. He shot a -1 in round two, and even par in round three. He finished tied for 6th place overall.
Michael Bennett Jr. shot even par for the tournament, while
Carson Everett shot +1.
Brevin Knight rounded out the top four for Greensboro, shooting +2 over par.
The Pride also had a second team playing in the tournament, led by
Noah Maness at +10.Â
Greensboro will play again October 7th, when they travel to Douglasville, GA for the West Pines Collegiate.Â
