Buena Vista, VA - Greensboro men's soccer took on Southern Virginia on the road Wednesday and fell 3-1.
The Knights scored the first two goals of the contest to go up 2-0 by the 26th minute. Greensboro fought back with a goal by
Craig Thomas in the 40th minute off an assist by
Brady Mowers.
With the score 2-1, Evan Catten scored the third goal for the Knights to put them ahead 3-1, and that would be the final score. SVU out-shot the Pride 13-12 on the night while freshman goalie
Giovanny Jacon had 1 save.
Greensboro will host Methodist this Saturday for senior day, with the game time scheduled for 5:00 pm.
