Atlanta, GA - The Pride Volleyball team closed out their day at the Emory Invitational with an intense match against host institution, Emory University Eagles, falling in all three sets on the evening. 

In the final match of the day, Greensboro faced an imposing adversary in the Emory Eagles. The match was a testament to the team's determination and commitment to giving their all against the strong opponent.

Jade Vrobel, Abey Hancock, and Krista Brantley led the offensive charge, each contributing 4 kills to the team's efforts. Their precision and power on the attack provided moments of excitement and challenged Emory's defense.

Jaylyn Templeton was instrumental in orchestrating the team's plays, tallying an impressive 16 assists, while also contributing 8 crucial digs on the defensive end. Morgan Mayfield showcased her defensive attributes with 11 digs, while Lauren Mantel added 6 to further demonstrating the team's refusal to lay down. 

Despite the final score, Head Coach Kevin Troup commended his team's performance, stating, "Our match against Emory University was a true test of our abilities. While the outcome may not have gone our way, I'm proud of the heart and effort our team displayed. Emory is a top-notch opponent, and we competed admirably.
