Greensboro, NC - On Tuesday afternoon the Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse team opened up the 2023 season at Pride Field as they hosted Adrian College in a non-conference match-up.  While the outcome was not what the Pride had hoped for (loss 17-4) there were many positives that they took away from the game,  Sophomore Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce (Winston-Salem, NC) led Greensboro with 2 goals, while Seniors Alex Prillaman (Rocky Mount, NC) and Cassie Hindes (Albany, NY) both added a goal each.

"I'm incredibly proud of the effort and play of our team today, said Head Coach Mallory Zelawski.  "As a team with a significant number of new players, we played very well for our first game. While there is room for improvement, this was a great starting point to build from".

Greensboro will have some time off before they return to action on Saturday, March 11th when they travel to Lynchburg, VA to face ODAC member Randolph College.  Start time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
