Montgomery, Ala.-Greensboro's Women's Lacrosse team fell to their host, Huntingdon 16-2 on Saturday afternoon, dropping to 0-7 on the season.
Huntingdon opened the scoring at 12:39 of the first quarter with a goal by Celina Owens-Campbell. Huntingdon would go on to a 3-0 1st quarter lead before Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce scored an unassisted goal to get GC on the board. The Hawks would carry a 13-1 lead into halftime, and would retain the momentum as they increased the lead to 15-1. Lauren Whitley found the back of the net to narrow the lead to 15-2 with 11:30 left in the game.
Sada Hollowell went the distance in net for the Pride, making six saves in the effort.
The Pride are back in action at home on Saturday, April 9th when they take on Piedmont. Game time is set for 12:00 pm.
