In the opener of the Berry College Tournament, Greensboro's baseball team fell short against Denison University 13-2.  The Big Red jumped on the Pride early, with four quick runs in the top of the 1st inning.  Greensboro answered with two runs in the 2nd inning with a Cam Edmonds RBI single and then another RBI single from Jamar Ellis to bring in Drake Carric, bringing the score to 4-2.

However, Denison's pitchers shut down the Greensboro lineup the rest of the way, striking out 10 batters and throwing zero walks the rest of the game.

Denison poured on nine more runs en route to the 13-2 win on 15 hits, six stolen bases, and six extra-base hits.

The Pride falls to 3-2 on the 2022 campaign, and will continue the Berry College Tournament Saturday afternoon against Adrian College at 4:30pm
