GREENSBORO, NC. — Greensboro College women's lacrosse fell short in a 22-0 conference loss to Averett College on Tuesday afternoon on Pride Field.
Averett (6-3) opened the game with quick back-to-back goals on their way to a 8-0 advantage by the end the first quarter. The Cougars added six more goals in the second quarter to take a 14-0 lead over GC (0-6) into halftime.
Sada Hollowell made 12 saves and gathered 6 groundballs for the shorthanded Pride.
Greensboro's next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 2nd, at Huntingdon. The game is scheduled for 4pm.
