Wilson Earns 5th at NCAA Championships

Greensboro's Josh Wilson and Hai Siu competed in the NCAA Wrestling Championships over the weekend (March 11th and 12th) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Josh Wilson earned All-American honors with a 5th place finish.  He defeated the #8, #7, and #3 wrestlers en route to a 5th place finish, the highest of any wrestler in Greensboro College history.  Siu finished in the top 12 of his weight class as well.

Josh Wilson (7-3) placed 5th and scored 8.5 team points.

Hai Siu (6-3)  scored 0.5 team points.

Head Coach Kevin Birmingham said, "It was a great overall experience for both kids.  We did not reach all of our goals, and we are already game planning for next season and we will be ready for the next challenge.  Josh and Hai embraced the moment and embodied PRIDE.  We are making history here at Greensboro College."

Both wrestlers are set to return next season, and both look to return to Cedar Rapids in pursuit of a national title.
