The USA South Athletic Conference's football coaches have released their 2021 preseason poll. The Greensboro College football were selected ninth in the poll.

The Pride finished the 2020-21 season with 1-2 overall record while going 0-1 in the conference. Greensboro will open the season on Saturday, Sept. 4 as it travels to Guilford College. The Pride will open its conference schedule on Saturday, Sept. 18 against Averett in the home opener.

Huntingdon was atop the rankings and will look to capture the program's sixth USA South championship. During last season's COVID-altered spring campaign, the Hawks earned a win in the USA South championship game over East Division champion Methodist while sharing the West Division crown with Brevard.

Additionally, the USA South will feature nine football-playing institutions this season as the League welcomes Southern Virginia into the Conference.
