HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Greensboro College women's soccer team fell to the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University Sunday 1-0.
The Royals scored the game's lone goal in the 12
th minute and took that lead into the halftime break.
Over the final 45 minutes, Greensboro held possession and was awarded six corner kicks but could not convert on their opportunities and fell by the one-goal margin.
The Pride out shot the Royals 18-9 in the contest with seven of their 14 shots going on the goal frame.
Anna Rae Porcelli had a team-high six shots while
Alexis Chase had four shots.
Kelsey Emrich took the loss in goal despite recording three saves.
