GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's lacrosse team fell to the Quakers of Guilford College Wednesday 21-1.
Guilford jumped out to a nine-goal lead over the first 11 minutes before Greensboro was able to get on the board when
Kara Whitson placed her free-position shot into the bottom right hand corner of the goal.
Following the Pride goal, the Quakers were able to score final 12 goals to secure the victory.
Murphie Davis,
Elizabeth Carr, and
Logan Schnabl each picked up two ground balls.
Sada Hollowell took the loss in goal despite recording 11 saves.
The Pride women will return to action at 12 p.m. Saturday when LaGrange College comes to town for a USA South Athletic Conference showdown.
