HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – The Greensboro College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to close out the Brevard College Challenge Saturday.
The Pride fell to the Wasps of Emory & Henry College to open the day in straight sets.
The Pride dropped the opening set by a 25-13 score before suffering a 25-17 setback in Set 2 and 25-21 in Set 3.
Sarah Egbers had a team-high 13 kills and
Katie Clark passed for 17 assists.
Following their loss to the Wasps, the Pride fell in five sets to the Quakers of Guilford College.
The Pride took the opening set by a 25-18 mark before falling in the next set 25-18.
The two teams then traded the next two sets before Guilford College took the decisive fifth set by a 15-6 win to take the victory.
Egbers once again led the Pride with 15 kills.
Tori Belcher had a team-high 28 digs.
