MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's tennis team fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University Wednesday, 9-0.
After dropping three doubles matches to open the day, Greensboro tried to rally back in single play but was unable to secure a point.
Anna Rae Porcelli dropped her No.1 singles match in a third-set tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets by scores of 6-2, 1-6.
Rachel Hamilton and
Samantha Lopez also dropped their respective singles matches in three sets.
Hamilton battled back after dropping her opening set by a 6-3 mark to send the match into the decisive set with a 7-6 win, where she fell 10-7.

Hunter Cashion and
Caroline Price also competed for the Pride.
