GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's tennis team fell to the Panthers of Ferrum College Wednesday, 9-0.
After dropping their three doubles matches by scores of 8-1, 8-0 and 8-3, the Pride then lost some tight singles matches as well.
At No.1 singles,
Anna Rae Porcelli dropped her opening set by a 7-5 score before sending the match into a third-set tiebreak with a 6-3 win in Set 2. In the tiebreaker, Porcelli got ahead early before falling 10-7.

Caroline Price,
Hunter Cashion,
Samantha Lopez and
Lauren Rodriguez all won at least one game in their respective singles matches.
"Today's match did not go in our favor, but I was happy to see how the girls competed and battled in every set," Head Coach
Gus Mota said. "We are already looking forward to our next match this weekend."
