MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Greensboro College women's lacrosse team won their second consecutive USA South Athletic Conference match-up Sunday with an 11-0 victory over Huntingdon College.
Greensboro established a four-goal lead over the first 15 minutes of the first half after
Kara Whitson tallied two goals, while
Kelsey Cenate and
Natalie Ritchey scored one goal each.
Ritchey then scored the final two goals of the half to send the Pride into halftime with a 6-0 lead.
Following the break,
Mackenzie Flemmons struck for three goals, while
Laine Walston and Whitson tallied goals to give Greensboro the 11-goal victory.
Ritchey finished with a team-high three goals and three assists, while Flemmons and Whitson also had three goals each.
Kianna Anderson recorded eight saves to record her first shutout of the season.
