CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Greensboro College women's basketball team defeated the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales Wednesday, 65-46.
Alexis Hite had a game-high 13 points, while
Kamerin Williams added nine points.
Marla Crawford finished the evening with eight points, while
Monica Smalls and
Domonique McCoy each added six points.
The Pride (6-5) held a arge 42-26 rebound margin over the Wildcats (3-6).
Courtney Pearsal pulled down a team-high 11 boards.
Bianca Covington led the way for Johnson & Wales with 11 points.
"Today was a team effort as a lot of players contributed," Head Coach
Randy Tuggle said. "Now we have to start preparing for our conference game against Averett on Friday."
