In the first game of the day, Greensboro College jumped out to an early, 1-0, lead when Madison Crisco plated Haley Rumley with an RBI single.

The game would remain 1-0 until the Wolves evened the score at 1-1 with a run in the bottom half of the fourth inning of play.

However, Greensboro plated four runs in the top half of seventh inning of play to come away with the, 5-1, victory. Later in the inning Sarah Connolly scored on a passed ball before Evan Sherer scored the game's final run following a Crisco double.

Dawn Harris picked up the win in the circle for the Pride tossing the full seven innings of play. During the seven innings, Harris only allowed one run on four hits while striking out nine batters.

Madison Crisco and Sarah Connolly each recorded two hits apiece while Ashlee Miller, Kali Puckett, Chelsea Brewer, and Sarah Tompkins contributed one hit each.

In the second game of the day against Penn State-Altoona, Greensboro jumped out to an 4-0 lead following two inning of play but fell by a 7-4 score.

"We were able to come out strong in both games today," Pride Head Coach Becky Bishop said following game two. "In the first game we were able to the little things right but in game two we had some miscues that caused us to lose our focus."

With the two game split on Wednesday, the Pride finish the three day event with a 5-1 mark. The Pride improves their overall record to 7-3 heading into another conference weekend where they will take on the Cougars of Averett University in Danville, Virginia on Saturday afternoon.
