MARYVILLE, Tn. – The Greensboro College football team wrapped up its 2015 season Saturday with a 52-3 loss to the Scots of Maryville College.
Greensboro got on the board first just over three minutes into the game. After what looked like a promising drive for the Pride stalled,
Ryan Campbell gave Greensboro a 3-0 lead with a 38-yard field goal.
The Scots answered with a touchdown pass to take the lead and then kept the Pride off the board for the remainder of the game to secure the victory.
"We have accomplished a lot this season both on and off the field," Head Coach
Bill Young said. "Unfortunately, things did not go our way today."
Mac Graham finished the day with 192 yards passing on 17 completions, while Ray Bridges hauled in 83 of those yards.
Chase Sams recorded a team-high 23 tackles, while
Micah McMaster contributed 21 tackles. Herb Bridges accounted for the lone defensive takeaway.
