MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Greensboro College volleyball team closed out its 2015 season Saturday with two losses in a USA South Athletic Conference quad-match.
The Pride fell to LaGrange College 3-1 before dropping a 3-0 decision to Huntingdon.
Greensboro fell to the Panthers by scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-13, and 25-14.
Shayla Moss had a team high 10 kills, while
Marquenette Fuller and
Brandy Johnson recorded seven kills.
Tori Belcher had 27 digs.
In the match against the Hawks of Huntingdon, the Pride lost 25-11, 25-23, and 25-18.
Brandy Johnson had a team high 13 kills, while
Breana Baker tallied nine kills.
Bari Tressler and
Katie Clark combined for 22 assists.
"This season has been an opportunity to grow as a unit," Head Coach
Kaci Pike said. "Our last match showed how far we have come, and how much love the girls have for each other. Now it's time to work and improve in the offseason."
