FERRUM, Va. – The Greensboro College women's soccer team saw their six game unbeaten streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon. The Pride fell to the Panthers of Ferrum College, 3-1, in USA South Athletic Conference play.
With the Pride trailing 3-0 in the 87
th minute,
Melanie Raton recorded her seventh goal of the season to pull Greensboro to within two goals.
However, the Pride could not find the back of the net again as they lost 3-1.
"Today we didn't have the breaks go our way," Head Coach
Gus Mota said. "We battled for 90 minutes and made a late push, but we didn't have the breaks we needed today."
Lauren Greeson,

Julyana Devonish each recorded one shot on goal.
Brittany Morrison picked up the loss in goal for the Pride despite recording seven saves.
