GREENSBORO, NC—The Greensboro College Pride men's soccer team returned to the field on Friday afternoon with a non-conference tilt against the Vikings of Berry College. The Pride men fell in the contest 1-0 after Bobby Grunow found the back of the net with 18 seconds remaining to play.

Greensboro College was outshot in the contest by a narrow 14-13 margin. Morgan Stevenson led the Pride in shots with three while Craig Gage, Marco Figueroa, Scott Fatyol, and Rene Mendoza each tallied two shots a piece.

Logan Rohde (3-5) took the loss in the net for the Pride while collecting two saves. John Nelson picked up the win for the Vikings.

With the defeat, the Pride men fall to 3-5 overall on the season. The Greensboro College men will return to action on Sunday afternoon as the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan come to town. The USA South Athletic Conference tilt is set to get underway at 2:00 PM.
