Volleyball Falls in USA South Quarter-Final to Maryville 3-0

MARTINSVILLE, VA---The Pride volleyball team fell to Maryville College 3-0 on Friday afternoon in the USA South Quarter Final matchup.

The Scots controlled the match taking the first and the second set 25-13 for a 2-0 lead in the match. Maryville went on to take the third set 25-19 and won the match 3-0.

Senior Liz Widenhouse led the way with nine kills and Breana Baker contributed eight kills. Bari Tressler had a team high ten assists. Holly Anders led the team with ten digs. Lastly, Senior Dallas Hasty had three kils and four digs.

Greensboro concludes their season with a 16-16 overall record and 8-11 in USA South play.
