Vontreece Hayes was added to the Greensboro College women's basketball staff prior to the 2018-2019 season.
Prior to joining the Pride staff, Hayes was a member of the Greensboro College women's basketball team for two seasons before going on to serve as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
During her time as a member of the Pride, Hayes won a conference tournament and regular season championship, while also serving as a team captain in her senior season.Â
In addition to her coaching experience at UMES, Hayes also served as a AAU coach with the Phoenix Express 16U, the Lady Phoenix 12U, the Team Reign Amateur 12U and 16U teams.
Outside of coaching, Hayes also participated in multiple national events including the WBCA's "So You Want to Be a Coach".
