Benitez helped lead the charge for the Pride in what was a strong week for men's wrestling. Against Randolph on Thursday, Benitez defeated Zakariya Gurban by fall in 1:51, en route to a 35-22 team victory. Then on Saturday at Southern Virginia, Benitez defeated Francisco Ramirez by fall in 1:48. Greensboro would go on to win that match as well, 31-21.
