Ju’Warren Byrd enters his second season as Greensboro College’s Defensive Line coach. Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Byrd was a former Linebacker and Defensive End from 2017 to the Spring 2021 for the Pride. He was a team captain and started 30 games. In his career, he recorded 141 tackles with 7.5 sacks along with a handful of school records.
Byrd graduated from Greensboro College with a B.S in Psychology and played his high school football at Tift County High School in Tift County, GA.
A native to Tift County, GA. His mother Lisa Cromer-Byrd resides in Tift County as well. His father Glen Byrd resides in Savannah, GA.
