Jessie Britt will be entering his second stint at Greensboro College. He coached Wide Receivers during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. This will be Coach Britt's 33rd year coaching football at the middle and high school level, as well as college.
Prior to Greensboro College:
Coach Britt coached the same position at Harding High school in Charlotte, NC, Page High School in Greensboro, making three state championship appearances, winning one. He also coached at Asheboro High School. Coach Britt was the wide receiver coach at North Carolina A&T State University for a year. He still spends his summers training wide receivers.
Coach Britt graduated from North Carolina A&T State University, earning his B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology. He played football as a wide receiver from 1982-1986. After his college career, Britt played wide receiver in the NFL, for the Pittsburgh Steelers 1986 and 1987 before a knee injury ended his career.
Coach Britt now teaches adaptive students in the Exceptional Children's Department for Guilford County Schools.
Coach Britt is married to his beautiful wife, Gladys.
