Biography
2020-21: Posted a 5-4 record with two pins, two major decisions, and one decision. Kanagy was one of two Pride wrestlers to win multiple bouts in the NWCA Division III Coaches Association Wrestling National Championships, recovering after a first-round loss to win two bouts.
2019-20: Finished with an 11-12 record with four decisions and four pins. Kanagy posted three wins at the SEWC Championships and scored one bout win in the NCAA Southeast Regional meet.
Prep: Played football and wrestled at Sun Valley High School where he claimed one regional championship, placed in the state meet once, and placed in the top ten nationally twice. He participated in three state and regional qualifiers in his high school career.
Personal: Son of Phil and Jenny with two siblings Ethan and Rachel.
