Biography
2020-21: Finished with a 5-5 overall record, posting four pins and one decision. Williams was featured in both the D3Wrestle.com NWCA Division III rankings at least once in each during the season. The heavyweight posted an opening pin in 6:13 at the NWCA Division III Coaches Association National Wrestling Championships. He posted at least one win in every match or meet but one throughout the year. Williams collected Academic All-USA South honors in this season.
2019-20: Posted a 16-11 overall record with eight decisions and seven pins. Williams went 4-0 in Averett Invitational while posting a 6-2 record in the Messiah Petrofes Invitational. William claimed second place in the SEWC Championships, posting two victories with a major decision and a pin. Williams collected a major decision victory in his first consolation match of the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Prep: Played football and track & field in addition to wrestling at Ragsdale High School where he was a state champion in wrestling while earning all-conference honors in football.
Personal: Son of Brandon and Jan with two siblings Tavish and Alexander. Studying Business at GC.
Favorite Athletic Moment: "Winning States in high school because it shows that all of the work I put into the sport and I finally had something to show for it."
