Greensboro College Pride

Berta Vidal is a volunteer assistant coach with Greensboro College Swimming. A native of Barcelona, Spain, Berta swam collegiately at NCAA Division II at Catawba College and graduated in 2024 with a B.S. in Business Administration and Psychology. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in Sport & Exercise Psychology at UNC Greensboro.

Berta’s coaching background includes leading a competitive summer league team, where she emphasized technical skill development, confidence, and a positive training environment. Her coaching philosophy integrates sport psychology principles (goal setting, effective self-talk, and mindfulness) to help student-athletes thrive in and out of the pool. She is passionate about inspiring athletes to love the sport while recognizing how discipline, resilience, and teamwork cultivated in swimming carry over to academics and life beyond athletics.
