Biography

2023: Pitched in 23 games with 20 starts. Had a 2.20 ERA in 146.2 innings pitched. Had 66 strikeouts and 35 walks. Pitched to a 16-3 record with 18 complete games. 

2022: Pitched 16.2 innings, striking out five batters, while going 1-3 with a 4.20 ERA.  Pitched a complete game shutout against Ithaca on March 13th.

2021: Engel appeared in 9 contests, starting two, logging 17 and two-third innings where she struck out four. Engel posted a 1-1 record and recorded one save. She threw four shutout innings in the second game of the 2/27 doubleheader at William Peace and in the second game of the 3/13 doubleheader with Meredith.

PREP: Was named to the PAC 7's All-Conference Team her first three years at Mountain Island Charter School. Engel was PAC 7 Pitcher of the Year in her junior year in addition to District 6 Pitcher of the Year that same season. She also earned All-Stat honors her junior year. Engel was a member of the National Honor Society.
