Biography

2012: Appeared in 23 games as a pitcher with 11 starts.  Recorded three wins and three saves while working six complete games.  Struck out 82 hitters in 96.1 innings pitched and finished with a 3.63 ERA.

2011: Played in 24 games and made 11 starts as a pitcher.  Tossed 11 complete games and recorded an overall record of 9-7.  Finished with a 1.95 ERA in 107.7 innings of work.

2010: Appeared in 32 games as a pitcher.  Posted a 17-5 record with 14 complete games and an ERA of 1.94.  Was named USA South Rookie Pitcher of the Year and was a USA South First Team selection.  Also recognized on the USA South Academic Team.

Prep:  Played four years of softball under coach Tiffany Haynes. Was an All-State and All-District pick in 2009.  Was an All-Conference and All-County selection in sophomore, junior and senior years.  Recognized as a three-time team MVP and was the County Player of the Year as a junior.  Set the school strikeout record (675).  Played for Carolina Cobras Club and ran cross country and golfed for one year.
