Greensboro College Pride

2022: Appeared in 23 games, making 20 starts with a 14-6 record and a 1.30 ERA.  Struck out 207 batters, and allowed just .164 opponents batting average in 139.2 innings pitched, including 20 complete games.  Struck out 10 or more batters 12 times.   Was named the USA South Pitcher of the Year, and was named to the Division III Region VI First Team.

2021: Appeared in 21 games and made 18 starts with a 14-5 record and 1.74 ERA, good for fourth in the USA South. She posted ten complete-games and three shutouts while striking out 136 batters with a .211 opponent's batting average. She tallied four starts of ten or more strikeouts, posting 14 strikeouts in the 3/17 non-conference win at Methodist. She also threw a three-hit shutout 3/4 against Randolph. Cox earned All-USA South East Division First Team honors.

2020: Started all seven games and earned complete-games in all seven contests. Cox threw 44 and one-third innings posting a 5-2 record with a 2.68 ERA and two shutouts. She struck out 59 batters and opponents batted .204 against her. She recorded three games with ten or more strikeouts with her season-high coming 2/29 at LaGrange where she fanned 12 batters. 

2019: Appeared in 26 games and pitched in 21 of them, while starting 18...Posted a 2.26 ERA with 15 complete games and 105 strikeouts

2018: Appeared in 26 games and pitched in 21 of them while starting 19 games... Posted 3.02 ERA and had a single season record in strike outs with 142 in 129.2 innings pitched... Set the record for most strikeouts in a single game with 15.

PREP: Cheyanne was a three-sport athlete at Southern Alamance High School. During her high school career, Cox earned All-State, All-Conference, and All-District awards in 2016 and 2017, while also earning conference Pitcher of the Year honors in 2016. She is the daughter of Steve Cox and has one sibling, Alecia.
