Greensboro College Pride

PREP: Grant comes to Greensboro College following a very successful high school career. During his time at Northwest Guilford, Grant received all-conference two-times, while being named the conference's Player of the Year following his senior campaign. Grant has also had a successful competitive run outside of his high school schedule as well. Grant most recently won the 2016 NC Junior Boys Match-play Championship earlier this month, while also recording four wins, five runner-up, and two third-place finishes in the 2015-16 Tarheel Junior Tour. Following the conclusion of the tour, Powell was named the Golf Pride MVP and Player of the Year. Powell is currently ranks 9^th the NC Junior Boys rankings. As a student, Powell was a member of the German Honor Society, as well as receiving the McConnell Golf Scholarship.
