Rob Heavner was named Head Men's Golf Coach in August of 2025 after serving as an assistant for the 2024-2025 season. Heavner is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a BA in Buinsess Administration and graduated high school from nearby Northwest Guilford.Â
Heavner grew up playing golf at the Cardinal Country Club in Greensboro and played his high school golf at Northwest Guilford. Heavner's golf background includes being a local club champion, Carolinas Golf Association champion, a contestant in the Cardinal Amateur, a contestant in the NC & Carolinas Mid-Am and Senior Ams, and he is certified by the International Golf Psychology Association.
Rob is married to his wife, Rhonda, and they have one son, Nicholas.
