Greensboro College Pride

2022: Started all 39 games, batting .365 with a USA South leading 11 Homeruns and 47 RBI.  Also drew 16 walks, and had an on-base-percentage of .420.  Earned a spot on the USA South 1st-Team for outfielders with a .739 slugging percentage for the year.  Went 10-4 with a 2.56 ERA as a pitcher, including striking out 84 batters, with 13 complete games over 104 innings pitched.  Went 1-2 with a walkoff Grandslam homerun against Averett on April 16th, and went 3-3 with two RBI against Ferrum on February 19th.

2021: Played in 26 games, starting 24, hitting .338 with nine doubles, two triples, and 17 RBI, leading the team with .529 slugging percentage. In the circle, Simmons posted an 8-3 record with a 2.72 ERA. She struck out 41 batters in 67 innings and posted one shutout and five complete games. Simmons tossed five shutout innings in the 3/14 non-conference doubleheader at Meredith. She struck out seven in six innings in the 3/17 matchup at Methodist. She tossed a complete-game win with six strikeouts in the 4/8 doubleheader against Roanoke. At the plate, she hit three-for-four in each game and totaled seven RBI in the 2/21 doubleheader at Lynchburg. Simmons hit two-for-three with three RBI in the second game of the 4/3 William Peace doubleheader. She was named to the All-USA South East Division First Team as a Designated Player.

2020: Played in 11 total games with nine starts, hitting 355 with two doubles, a triple, and six RBI. Seven of those games, she started in the circle with five complete games, a 3-2 record, and a 2.58 ERA. She struck out 37 in 43 and one-third innings with two shutouts. Simmons struck out 11 in her 2/22 complete-game victory over Randolph. She threw a seven-strikeout two-hitter in the 3/8 matchup against Bethany (W.Va.). At the plate, Simmons hit three-for-four with one RBI in the 2/28 matchup at Covenant. She hit two-for-three with two RBI in the 3/8 matchup against Bethany (W.Va.).

PREP: Kassie was a two-sport athlete at Eastern Guilford High School where she earned multiple All-Conference, All-District, and All-State accolades, while also earning Pitcher of the Year recognition.
