Montgomery, AL - Greensboro College Women's Lacrosse (2-11, 1-5) traveled to Huntingdon (4-6, 3-3) on Friday and fell 14-9.
The Pride battled all afternoon long, getting 3 goals each from
Brynly ManWaring and
Keira Fenyo. After each team scored 3 goals in the first period, the Hawks scored 5 in the second and took an 8-5 lead at the half.
They scored another 5 goals in the third period to extend the lead to 13-6. Greensboro outscored the Hawks 3-1 in the final period but it wouldn't be enough as Huntingdon came away with the win.
Kenzie Helton scored 2 goals for the Pride while
Sydney Patton also scored once. Patton led the team in ground balls with 6 while Fenyo had 4 caused turnovers.

Greensboro will head to Southern Virginia on April 7 for their next contest at 4:00 pm.
