Greensboro, NC - Greensboro College Men's Wrestling hosted Averett for an ODAC dual match on Thursday night, with the Cougars winning 42-6.
The Cougars came out strong with wins in the 141lb match and the 149lb match to begin the night. They then got a quick pin in the 157lb matchup followed by another pin in the 165lb class.
Greensboro stopped the Cougars run by earning a win in the 174lb class, as
Ethan Kring took home a dominant 9-0 victory.
Jordan Warren then won in the 184lb match by an 8-6 decision.Â
Averett took back control after that, as they would win the rest of the matchups in the 197, 285, 125, and 133 pound weight classes.Â
Notes:
- The Cougars jump to the top of the ODAC standings, as they are now 4-0 in conference action.
- This was the first ODAC match of the season for the Pride.

Ethan Kring has won his last three dual matches dating back to the Virginia Duals.   Â
