The Greensboro Men's and Women's Cross Country teams began their 2025 season at the Elon Opener at Elon University on Friday night.

In the men's division, Zak Gumaya ran a 6K time of 22:25.2. In the women's division, sophomore McKenzie Koos ran a 4K time of 21:51.7, Jada McClay timed in at 24:08.6, and Keira Fenyo ran a time of 24.51.2, 

Greensboro will run again in the Pfeiffer Invitational on September 12th.
