Greensboro, NC - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced that Greensboro College's Brody Gardner has been named this week's Baseball Rookie of the Week.  Gardner, a freshman from Asheboro, North Carolina went a combined 3-for-8 (.375) with a .500 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage to go along with two runs scored, two RBI's, one double, one triple, three walks, and one stolen base as the Pride took two out of three games against Lycoming this past weekend.

The Greensboro College Athletic Department would like to congratulate Brody on being named this season's first USA South Rookie of the Week.
