GREENSBORO, NC--Greensboro's women's lacrosse team's season ended with a 17-1 loss to crosstown-rivals of Guilford College on Saturday afternoon. The Pride's
Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce scored the lone goal of the afternoon at 4:14 left in the 3rd quarter.
Guilford's Sydne Sawyer led the Quakers with six goals, as Guilford controlled the game with 33 shots to GC's 10.
Sada Hollowell made 11 saves in net in the loss.
Greensboro's women's lacrosse team showed tremendous growth over the course of the season, and will look to work hard in the offseason to come back ready to compete next season.
