STAUNTON, Va.--Greensboro's men's and women's tennis teams faced off with Mary Baldwin in conference play on Wednesday afternoon. The Squirrels defeated the Pride 6-3 on the men side and 9-0 on the women's.
For the men in singles action,
Sam Kruse improved to 2-0 on the season, with a 3rd set victory of 6-4, 4-6, 12-10. Deutsch then gained his first win of the season in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.
Hector Rodriguez got his first career win in a straight set win of 7-5, 6-2.
On the women's side, the team improved since their last match. Freshman
Jada Ore continues to improve, falling in a nail biter of three sets 7-5, 6-7, 7-10.
