Greensboro's Women's lacrosse team battled Southern Virginia on Tuesday (March 15th), and came up short in a 17-4 loss. Â
Rosanna Espinosa-Ponce got the Pride on the board at 4:26 of the first quarter, and would go on to score twice in the game.Â
Selena Najera and
Cassie Hindes also found the back of the net for Greensboro, but ultimately Southern Virginia was able to control the pace of play. Chloe Mitchell and Alissa Johnson each scored four goals for the Knights, who mustered 26 shots as a team to Greensboro's 10.
Greensboro drops to 0-2 on the season, and will look to rebound against Methodist this Saturday at 1pm against Methodist.
