RESULTS
The Greensboro College men's and women's swimming teams swam at the Guilford College Invitational at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The men's team placed fifth while there was no team score for the women.
The quartet of
Ethan Wilson,
Mills Pittard,
Cole Haines and
Spencer George started the event for the men's team in the 200 Free Relay as they finished ninth with a time of 1:38.04.
The same combination took part in the 200 Medley Relay and stopped the clock at 1:52.06.
George swam individually in the 50 Free (22.95), 100 Free (50.57) and the 200 IM (2:15.13). Wilson took part in the 100 Back (1:01.43) before swimming in the 100 Free (54.93) and the 200 IM (2:20.97).
Haines began the solo portion of his day in the 100 Back with a time of 1:05.02. The freshman then competed in the 100 Free (54.81), 50 Free (25.02) and the 200 Free (2:00.43).
Pittard completed the day for the Pride in the 100 Free (57.24) and the 50 Free (26.21).
On the women's side, the team of
Katrina O'Neill,
Kilee Kemp,
Virginia Hufschmitt and
Gabrielle Hunker swam in the 200 Free Relay (2:07.87) and the 200 Medley Relay (2:24.29).
Hufschmitt started her day in the 100 Breast (1:33.41) before the 50 Free (36.14) and the 200 Free (2:57.92).
Kemp took part in the 100 Back (1:11.64), 100 Free (1:07.31), 50 Free (29.98) and the 200 IM (2:45.32). Hunker swam individually in the 100 Breast (1:37.10), 100 Free (1:15.13) and the 50 Free (33.42).
Greensboro returns to the pool on Friday, November 12 at Emory & Henry College as it also faces Ferrum College. Start time is set for 6:00 p.m.
