Women's Swimming beats Salem

RESULTS

The Greensboro College women's swimming team faced Salem College in a battle of the Triad. The Pride defeated the Spirits, 78-72.

Kilee Kemp led Greensboro as she won three individual events. Kemp took first in the 50 Breast (40.45), 50 Free (30.91) and the 100 Individual Medley (1:17.06). The Amarillo, Texas native also placed second in the 50 Back with a time of 36.22.

Gabrielle Hunker won the 100 Breast and the 100 Free with times of 1:36.28 and 1:17.40, respectively. Hunker also finished second in the 50 Free (32.93) and fourth in the 50 Breast (45.16).

Virginia Hufschmitt was also victorious on the afternoon with wins in the 1,000 Free (15:38.22) and the 100 Back (1:37.76). Hufschmitt placed second in the 50 Breast (43.35) and fifth in the 50 Free (39.25).

Greensboro will take part in the Guilford Invitational on Saturday, November 6 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
